March 2022

Dissolve Into The Now will be released on 8th April 2022 on MuzaMuza. It has been a long slog to get this produced after such a long period of blocked of inspiration. This all ended with a flurry of intense studio improvisation sessions. The results which are now available for pre-order from the physical page.

January 2022

Hopefully 2022 will see me getting back on track with a few projects and outings. 2021 was a hard year for me. Plans are underway for Assimilate 6 and also a very special outdoor gridgig in the summer.

Also muzamuza will see some releases very very soon from some names that everyone will know and I am totally thrilled to be able to work with. More news very soon on all of this.

April 2021

Delighted to have the second volume of the BigRoadBreaker "No Longer Lost Series" out on TQN-aut this month. Titled Underground Bath, it captures unreleased material from 1996 from in-between the second and third albums.

The album can be purchased right here

August 2020

I am delighted to announce that after re-work and painful deliberation, the fully revised version of the album due out earlier this year for Opal Tapes, will now be released jointly on Opal Tapes in CD format (with additional material) and muzamuza for the strictly limited lathe cut 12" version.
Stark and intricate in its minimal approach, this see's the brb>voicecoil sound funnelled via an arsenal of granular software to create the most processed record to date by myself. Difficult to let go it explores the desperate insecurities of longing and belief.

Check out the sample link above or order direct from the Physical Page.

May 2020

As a stop gap between new material "occupation by killers" has had a reissue as a limited run single sided 12" lathe cut disc. Originally release in 2009 on Muzzedia Verhead this reissues comes in beautiful recycled card sleeve with lokta paper print cover mount and vellum inserts.
Available in clear, white, red and blue discs, these won't be around for long, don't sleep.

April 2020
After much thought, the release for Opal Tapes has been put on hold while I re-work the whole package. It wasn't quite right and needs some further thought.

In the meantime, there was the "behind closed doors we are realised" box just put out. A second volume of that will be in the pipeline this year. There is also some old bigroadbreaker sessions available soon on cassette in the form of "throttle ego temple" and I will have some news regarding some reissues coming out on lathes very soon.

January 2020

All parts for the new album release for Opal Tapes have been completed and currently being mastered into a suitable running order. The album clocks in at an hour long and has a more "processed" feel than previous work whilst hopefully still retaining the natural feel of the source recordings.

Album title will likely change and a release date of late March will coincide with some live outings with friends taking in UK towns in the spring. Further details to follow.

October 2019

Work on the Opal CD release is ongoing and due to my intense indecision on "when things are finished" will now be put back for a 2020 release, this along with some very special plans for most of 2020.

June 2019

Work is underway on the next full length brb>voicecoil release. "corrosion of choice" is scheduled for release in late October on the flawless Opal Tapes in the format of glass mastered CD.

In the meantime a 1o minute brb>voicecoil piece will be available very soon on a digital split release with HAIRSABYSS on the rising Netherlands COMA KULTUR outlet.

New paragraph
February 2019

We continue to expand our urban environments without thought for consequence. Cities expand and consume green belt, while all the time the center rots away as inner cities decay.

Location One - 10 years ago I walked through crops, wildlife, fragile footbridges and small brooks. Today the space is occupied by sprawling residential estates, roads, pylons, business parks. These places have taken away a natural space forever? No. These environments are temporary residence, history demonstrates that nature has the ability to reclaim its space and return structure to dust.

Location Two - Abandoned farm buildings are currently being dismantled brick by brick by no mechanical means but by nature alone, slowly being dragged back to ground to be consumed by the power of the natural environment.

I am excited to announce the release of "reclaim" on the excellent Belgium based Unfathomless label. Unfathomless has steadily built huge respect in experimental environmental audio circles growing since the Mystery Sea days.

reclaim will be released in March 2019 in an edition of 200 hand numbered copies with the first 50 copies in special packaging.
